The ASEAN group of nations aims to increase energy efficiency by 20% by 2020 and 30% by 2025. Currently, buildings account for about 40% of total final energy consumption in Southeast Asia. Given this fact, they hold some of the highest potential for energy savings. Efficiency is also one of the least-cost ways of meeting growing electricity demand in buildings when compared to onboarding additional energy generation.

Currently, deployment of these solutions is sometimes hindered by a lack of knowledge about their availability or the efficacy of such solutions. CONNEX Vietnam Workshop – Building Energy Challenge 2020 aims to provide you some more insights about our program, as well as showcase some innovative energy efficiency solutions that may be relevant to join the program in the near future. It is also a great networking opportunity that can’t be missed!
