The technical assistance for this project with CRUS aims to improve capacities and strengthen technical knowledge of journalists across Viet Nam in innovative reporting techniques in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency. It is anticipated that the 3 trainings courses on different aspect of energy journalisms will be explored through the duration of the project. In addition, the project will also connect Vietnamese journalists with international journalists to discuss challenges and opportunities in reporting on renewable energy and energy efficiency through a series of virtual roundtables. The project will be implemented from September 2020 to August 2021.

It has successfully organized a journalist competition called “Human and Climate Change” in 2019 with the more than 60 articles submitted. CRUS is also implementing the Saigon Energy Hub with the objective to disseminate accurate information on these issues to the general public.
