Workshop “Innovative Industrial & Commercial Solar Rooftop PV Power Solutions for Viet Nam”

On November 23, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for the first time cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh Hepza Businesses Association (HBA) to organize a Workshop “ Innovative Industrial & Commercial Solar Rooftop PV Power Solutions for Viet Nam “. The workshop introduced the invited guests to the Investment Guidelines for Commercial-Industrial Rooftop Solar Systems in Vietnam developed by GIZ, as well as discussed investment opportunities for Rooftop Solar Systems (RTS) for industry and commerce.

These “Investment Guidelines for Commercial-Industrial Rooftop Solar Systems in Viet Nam” were developed in the context of the “PV Rooftop Pilot Project”, a development partnership between the German development corporation GIZ, Syntegra Solar International and Cat Tuong Corporation under the Programme, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to develop a sustainable, reliable and affordable energy sector.. The complementary set of four contract templates for different business models for Rooftop Solar were developed as part of the joint Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (4E) Project/EU–Viet Nam Energy Facility (EVEF). The Guidelines is provided free of charge and available to download at
